This article discuss issues about moving files between Mac and Windows. For example, Mac files may have Resource Fork, or file creator/type info. When moved to Windows, these info are gone, and for some files they will not function without these info. Also, Mac and Windows support different character set in file names. So, when you transfer files between Mac and Windows, the file names may be messed up.

Disk Utility – Select format and click Save After the converted file has been saved, locate it and rename it to.ISO. Problem is, I can't access it the file on my Mac in Excel or Numbers. It's currently in.xlsx format, I tried simply renaming as an.xls file but it wouldn't open properly on either application. How do I convert this file Windows file into a Mac readable file. All help appreciated
